| I want to mae sure for some reason that my meta tags do not contain my company name... anyone know I would look at my metatags?

You can even put rotaing banners in this area! |

You don't have any.
If you go to your board logged out and hit View> Source from the top of your browser, you can see <META..... at the top. There's nothing in there to worry about.
You need to manually add that in for keywords and stuff.

Well we fixed that issue when we took that out of the board name in the admin panel

Well aren't you allowed to have a personal website that has nothing to do with Lia Sophia?
If you are, just tell them to piss off and this is simply a chat board you belong to and it has nothing to do with them.
Outside of a legal subpoena, they can't do squat.
You've got way more tolerance for this kind of crap than I do! I'd have told them all off and probably run my mouth off!

| Actually, they have more power than we'd all like...since we are independent contrators and not employed by them - we are employed "at will" so technically they can let me go at any time with no reason! It sucks but legally - not a damn thing I can do if they play the game or pay...

Well, that sucks!
Oh and I checked those subforum things and it all seems to be working properly. I'll give you a call tomorrow as it will be easier to explain. I'm exhausted now and am off this chair for the night!

It's very easy to do.
You'll need ftp access to your theme. Open your main_templates.txt file in ConText or any other html editor and under the <HEAD> tag you're going to look for this line of code:
| <META HTTP-EQUIV="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=$language_charset"> |
Then under that you're going to put in this:
| <META name="Keywords" content="PUT YOUR OWN KEYWORDS IN THIS SPACE, SEPARATE EACH WORD WITH A COMMA"> |
Then save your work and reupload your template.

No you don't see the head tags in the admin panel, you'll have to edit the raw template.
If you email me a copy of your main templates I can do it for you, email it back and you can upload it to your site's theme.
Just include a list of what words you want in the meta tags.
